The growth in the SXS classes in 2018 has led to some of the most exciting races of the 2018 CAMS, Carnarvon Motel Western Australian Off Road Championship.

SXS Sport has been dominated by Mark Wainwright. The Yamaha man putting in some noteable drives so far this season including sitting second outright after a sterling run to the junction at the Gascoyne Dash. Wainwright is ready to have another crack at the Black Diamond Drilling Kalgoorlie Desert Race.

The SXS Turbo class has been a Polaris v’s Can-Am duel with competitors for both manufacturers laying it all on the line for bragging rights. Consistency has seen Michael Ware sit at the top of the ladder all year in his Polaris with Chris Unstead flying the flag for Can-Am in second place. Drew Millar and Ash Sudholz will be hoping to knock Unstead off the podium to make it a Polaris 1-2-3 in the Championship whilst Dean Terry could yet spring a surprise, sitting fifth in the class championship but arguably one of the quickest in the class and a potential top five outright threat.
