The inaugural Zoom’s Inglewood Cup was run and won over the weekend with Troy Duff, who led from the get-go, taking a convincing win in dusty conditions in his class 1 Jimo 2000 Series #124.

Michael Schneider was 6minutes off the pace of Duff to slot into second place; the #602 CanAm clocking in just over half a minute ahead of #439 Chev C20 of Jamie Knight. Knight, who was in fifth place at the overnight break, moved into third to fill the podium for the Zoom’s Inglewood Cup.

David Loughnan #611 was 27seconds behind Knight to take fourth place, just nudging out by 13 seconds, the Unlimited machine of Nev Taylor #24 to round out the top five.

17 teams headed to the inaugural Zoom’s Inglewood Cup with 11 clocking in the full ten lap race distance.

Derek Rose had engine dramas, his race ending in Saturday’s final lap. John Wisse #6656, who was running in second outright at the time, had an incident on the last lap on Saturday sending him to the pits and onto the trailer. 4017c_sm
