ARB AORRS Goes Prime Time
Friday, 24 May 2013
The ARB Australian Off Road Racing Series has today announced the securing of a prime time TV package for the inaugural 2013 four round series.

Airing in the prime time slot of Friday nights on the Speed Channel via the Foxtel network, the half hour programs will capture the thrill, excitement and diversity of each of the four ARB Australian Off Road Racing Series rounds; concluding with a fifth program, the ARB Australian Off Road Racing Series season in review.

1942b_sm “We’re all excited that we’ve been able to put this deal in place in time for the first round of the ARB Australian Off Road Racing Series at Sea Lake” explained Andy Brown. “Sports Action Media have a proven history with off road racing, having covered three of our events in 2012.”

The first of the five program series is scheduled to air on Friday 5th July at 8:30pm, three weeks after the MBL Sea Lake Mallee Rally ARB 350 and will be a great taster for the second round of the series, the ARB Griffith 400, just a week later.

Sports Action Media Producer Tolley Challis added “our team are thrilled to be involved with the new series and we’re looking forwarded to showcasing the unique aspects of each of the four events”.

The results based shows will include action highlights, interviews and spectacular on board vision from the four rounds of the 2013 ARB Australian Off Road Racing Series.

The variety in course terrain will be evident as the series moves from the surrounds of the picturesque Lake Tyrrell salt lake, to the farming landscape at Griffith, through the infamous melon holes and Malapunyah Run at Queensland’s Goondiwindi, culminating in the series finale at the formidable Tantanoola Pine Forrest on the outskirts of Millicent in the South Australian south east.

“With over 115 teams so far expressing their interest in ARB Australian Off Road Racing Series, couple that with 105 entries received to date for the first round at Sea Lake, I’m looking forward to what this year has to offer” said Andy Brown.
