Hunter Rivmasta Off Road 200 Warialda coming soon
Wednesday, 06 September 2017
It is that time again when the Warialda Motor Sports Club host the annual Hunter Rivmasta Off Road 200 Warialda on the 16th & 17th September 2017.

All hands have been on deck to get the great event happening, with the Monomeeth property looking awesome.

“Thanks have to go to Bruce and Bryce Chapman from TPE for transporting their machinery to Warialda to help out with track preparations”.

"Also thank you to Derek Rose, Rose & Son Earthmoving, Terry and Maureen Rose: Highway Service Centre and Crowe Family Partnership for the use of all their equipment to get Monomeeth looking as good as it does.”

The club would also like to thank all the volunteers and committee members that give up their time to help at the track; “you know who you are. Without you all our event would not happen.”

It’s time to start getting excited about the Hunter Rivmasta Off Road 200 Warialda. Entries are rolling in, so if you haven’t entered yet, get your entries in… it’s set to be a beauty.

Scrutiny of off road vehicles will be on Friday night 15th September at the Warialda Recreation Ground, next to the caravan park. Documentation will begin at 3.00pm and scrutiny will begin at 5:00pm and finishing at 9:00pm.

Spectators can come and check out the awesome off road machines and meet the drivers and navigators. If competitors wish to display their vehicles they must remain in the display area until they are advised they can leave by officials which will be around 8:30pm.

Food and drinks will be available at the recreation ground. Thanks must go to the Warialda Public School who will be cooking a BBQ, St Joseph’s Primary School will be holding a confectionery and drinks stall and the Warialda Pre School will be selling a variety of hot dishes like spaghetti bolognaise.

“A big thank you must also go out to our Major Naming Sponsor, Hunter Rivmasta Off Road Racing Frames, who has been a part of our event from the beginning and supported our Club year after year. Thank you Bob and Jeanette Mowbray from us all.”

“Thank you also to our major sponsors, the Royal Hotel Warialda, Gwydir Meats Warialda, Gwydir Shire Council, Bakers Loaf and TPE Earthmoving & Civil; thank you all for your continued support.

The weekend of racing begins Saturday morning starting at 9:30am with Prologue (briefing will start at 8:00am) and racing begins again on Sunday at 8:30am (briefing will start at 7:45am)

At the conclusion of Sundays racing, don’t go anywhere. Make sure you stay for the Rose & Son Excavator Dozer Hire Dash for CASH, where you will see the top 10 cars chase it out for the cash!

See everyone out at Monomeeth, Gragin Road for a great weekend of off road racing, with canteen and bar available all weekend.

This great event would not be possible if it wasn’t for our Landowners, a big thank you must go to Bryan & Bev Basham, Col McQueen and Stephen & Kerry O’Rourke.

The Warialda Motor Sports Club thanks all volunteers that work all weekend and we are always happy to see and welcome anyone who would like to help out on this weekend of off road racing.

See everyone on Friday the 15th September to kick the Hunter Rivmasta Off Road 200 Warialda.
