With the recent Hunter Rivmasta Off Road Warialda 200 run and won, the New South Wales off road racing fraternity now turns its attention to the sixth and final round of the 2017 championship, the Nabaic Airport Challenge to be held on the 28th and 29th of October.

The final destination on the New South Wales Championship calendar is promoted by the Central North Coast Sporting Car Club, and proudly sponsored by the Nabiac Hotel. The annual Nabiac Airport Challenge is a tough, unique test of man and machine over difficult sand and dirt terrain with plenty of fast sections on the track, including the famous airstrip start/finish straight.

Not only will the race itself be vigorously contested for outright honours, including the return of defending champions Justin Guy and Eric Hume who have dominated much of the 2017 season, there are some crews who are poised for Championship success.

Scott Brown leads the New South Wales Championship by 1 point heading into the decider at Nabiac. Close on his heels is former New South Wales Champion Glen Hoffman who is a mere 2 points in front of Scott Muma who is only a flat tyre away from taking home NSW #1, whilst Justin Chisholm is still in with a chance in his Yamaha UTV machine.

The club have been busy behind the scenes ensuring the 2017 event is the best yet on and off the track, with the entrance road having more tar laid ensuring your trek into the venue is a bit smoother, doors attached to the toilets, new tracks, extra recovery and a new committee, all roads lead to the NSW decider.

See you all at Nabiac where full canteen and camping amenities will be available, the 22nd edition is one not to miss!
