Back on Track for Queensland
Thursday, 04 March 2021
The off road season is ramping up with Queensland teams kick starting their 2021 racing year at the Lucas Papaw Remedies Sexton 100 this weekend.

A strong field of 62 teams have nominated for the opening round of the 2021 Mickey Thompson ARB Queensland Off Road Racing Championship which is also round 1 of the Queensland Off Road Racing Short Course Championship, the Queensland Off Road Racing Junior Championship, the Queensland Off Road Racing Ladies Championship and the highly anticipated opening round of the Queensland Off Road Racing Future Champions Championship.

The name ARB 4X4 Accessories has long been entrenched in off road racing and for 2021 ARB have joined with Mickey Thompson as co-naming rights partners for the AORRA Queensland Off Road Racing Championship.

Headlining the debut of the Future Champions class will be Lincoln Taylor, Boyd Ellsworth, and Seth Jones; these young off road racers will be making history this weekend and we look forward to watching them grow and succeed.

With the disappointing circumstances and making a change in venue from Leyburn to Sexton, the club members have put in a huge effort to get the Sexton track primed and ready to race.

With the venue light on in the rain department, it could be a little dusty, but being the first race of the year, competitors will be happy just to be putting the helmets on.
