Josh Howells and Eric Hume #15 have claimed Top 10 Shootout honours at the Cobb & Co St George 399.

Howells and Hume finished three seconds ahead of Matt Hanson and Nigel Pendlebury #7 across the 12km course, with Toby Whateley and Simon Herrmann #421 crossing the line in third.  Unfortunately, Hanson has just reported that he is withdrawing from the event with fuel injector issues.

There was plenty of drama in the morning’s action, with yesterday’s quickest qualifier in prologue, Beau Robinson, suffering an unknown motor issue. His team are working on a fix for the Extreme 2WD trophy truck to allow Robinson to start the race proper when racing resumes.

In the KINCROME SXS Motorsport Australia Championship, young gun Josh Wiedman again impressed, seventh fastest of all runners in his SXS Pro buggy.
