Perfect Martin Secures ARB Big Desert 480

Brent Martin and Andre De Simone #120 have outlasted all the elements in their Jimco to claim a narrow victory at the inaugural ARB Big Desert 480 in Rainbow over the weekend, the opening round of the ARB Australian Off Road Racing Championship.
Danny Brown and George Apted #42 made a late surge to finish second in the teams Alumi Craft, 57 seconds off the pace.
Jason and Charlotte Richards #119 wrapped up the outright podium after an impressively consistent Sunday, 4 mins adrift of Brown.
With Brad Chasemore #10, and Craig Barnett #68 rounding out the ARB Big Desert 480 top 5.
22 of the 54 starters finished the full 480kms.
